HomeVideoHomesteadingDrill Your Own Water Well Survival Spot Homesteading, Video 3 Responses Janine You left out so much vital information. What is happening "inside" the pipe? how was the water drill made? why water hoses? What mistakes to avoid?? Reply MikeLintro Sounds like there is a lot that goes into water well drilling. I'm sure it would be important to consider the cost of all the materials, and the labor. I have no idea how much that would be, or how much it would be to pay for a well, but contrasting the two options could give some valuable information. I don't think I could ever do it on my own. I wouldn't want to risk putting all the time into drilling a well, just to find it dry at the bottom. <a href="http://www.schneiderwater.com” target=”_blank”>http://www.schneiderwater.com Reply brock savoy I’ve made several for my friends and dad. Read eThe replies. Didn’t watch the video. But it is ieasier than what people think. I live in Louisiana. Our water table is low but I have done all of them by hand so to speak. I basically have a 2 1/2″ hand auger with extensions that I have gone up to 40′ with. All the wells I have done still work til this day. Make good amounts of water.
