One Second After – EMP/CME knowledge. Instead of a small band of survivors, this is about a small community around 7000, up to 10,000 after refugees arive. The necessary evils of governing including defense, distribution of food, water, distribution of communial duties such as burial, etc. Also has accurate stats on what to expect in terms of medical/survival rates. Made an impact on me as to just how fast a community/group would have to react and what they should have prepared for in advance.
Huckelberry Finn and Robinson Crusoe are better than The Road! Alas, Babylon is in a class by itself.
The Last Canadian…
Preppers Road March by Ron Foster
One Second After
I just had a friend mention that book to me the other day and it sounded like a great read. Thanks for the input!
