Survival Girl’s Self Sufficient Series – Make the Most of Your Fall Harvest With Canning

As the harvest season is drawing to a close this year, I can’t help but feel plagued by the idea that I won’t have a fresh salad on the dinner table and a big bowl of fruit on the counter like I’m used to. I’ve been spoiled by fresh organic produce strait from the garden all summer and now I have to try to figure out how to squeeze some healthy veggies into my family’s diet. The farmer’s markets are slowly dying down and I live in an area where fresh produce is a commodity during the harsh winter months.

Even though I may not be able to have FRESH produce all through the winter, I can still preserve the delicious organic fruits and vegetables from my garden while retaining most of the nutritional value with canning!

Here is a great collection of videos that will take you through the entire canning process from start to finish – enjoy!

This is a really awesome and very thorough introduction to canning, even though I am a long-time canner I enjoyed watching the videos, which would have made my learning to can (well before the age of the internet) a much easier process.

I have been browsing on-line more than three hours lately, but I never found any attention-grabbing article like yours. It’s lovely value enough for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made excellent content as you probably did, the net will likely be much more helpful than ever before.
