Really nice story, well done and easy to understand. I have to say that I was disturbed by the brewer tasting the distillate repeatedly from his same finger. Yes, I know alcohol may sterilize anything, but that seems wildly unhygienic.
Ethanol is a good bartering commodity I believe when that SHTF moment occurs. Currently I cannot supply my own food nor do I have any means of barter if the need ever arises. I think the production of vodka or other alcohol could be a means to an end. Thank you for the info.
