SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Charges are now dropped against a farmer from Laclede County who was arrested after undercover agents bought raw milk from him in a parking lot in Springfield in April 2009.

Armand and Teddi Bechard and their children have been in the raw milk business for nearly five years but, for nearly the last two, they’ve been facing lawsuits from the State of Missouri and the City of Springfield. The Bechard family believes raw cows’ milk is best.

“People been drinking it for centuries; it’s good for you. It doesn’t make sense to pasteurize it. If God made it to be drank raw, that’s the way it ought to be,” says Armand Bechard.

They drink it themselves and now sell only to others who call and order.
