Although not impregnated with anything, just for the amount of tinder I can carry in the least amount of space….. a non-applicator, unscented, tampon. They also are a good compliment to first-aid kits for cuts, punctures, bullet holes, etc.
days and days worth of tinder packed down to the size of a 9mm round. Just pick off what you need.
I'm thinking of testing one out as a small oil/fat candle.
Great idea. I really like the fact that I can put to good use something that I would normally throw away.
I use old motor oil instead of vasoline. Works just as good.
