I see little point in carrying the extra weight of brass casings plus reloading gear when you could be using a muzzle-loading gun and make the whole process much easier, less expensive, and carry more ammo for the weight.

This video was likely not meant to serve as a survival situation that is posed on a daily basis, but more or less, I think the guy is just trying to show that this can be done if needed.
