So did Duke Energy&#8217;s monitors at its two nuclear facilities in South Carolina and the plant in Huntersville, North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Elliot said: &#8216;If there were radiation coming from one our own sites, we would be seeing other types of radiation than iodine-131.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 644px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Radiation Censors Map USA\" src=\"https:\/\/www.survival-spot.com\/survival-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/radiation-censors-map.jpg\" title=\"Radiation Censors Map USA\" width=\"634\" height=\"480\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">National network: Points on the map show the positions of radiation sensors in the U.S.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#8216;Other nuclear stations throughout the East Coast all started picking this up within the last week.
