Gator and Parang Machetes
Whether you’re defending yourself in a post-outbreak environment or simply sawing tree limbs or clearing brush, the Apocalypse Survival Kit offers a variety of useful tools, including three machetes: the Gator, the Gator Pro, and the Parang. The Gator has both fine and serrated edges, and the Gator Pro has an aggressive, multi-purpose blade than can be used as an axe, a machete, or a knife. The Parang has an angled blade and is modeled after a traditional jungle machete. The blades are all forged of high-carbon stainless steel.

Epic, DMF Folder, and LMF II Infantry Knives
The Apocalypse Survival Kit contains three knives–the Epic, the DMF Folder, and the LMF II Infantry–that can serve a variety of uses, whether it’s cutting firewood, building a shelter, or protecting yourself in a disaster zone. The Epic sports a low profile, a titanium nitrate-coated blade, and an integrated bottle opener, while the DMF Folder has a folding tanto blade and a compact design suited for everyday carry. Engineered by a former military man, the LMF II Infantry knife is 10 inches long and has lashing holes that enable it to be used as a spear tip.

Single-Hand Camp II Axe
Also included in the Apocalypse Survival Kit is the Camp II: an all-purpose hand axe with a forged steel head and an elongated, glass-filled nylon handle. The axe comes with a molded plastic sheath.

Roll-Up Canvas Carrying Case
This survival kit comes enclosed in a durable canvas carrying case with reinforced stitching for easy transport. Stud buttons keep the case rolled up, helping make it compact and packable.

About Gerber
When Joseph R. Gerber described his young knife company, Gerber Legendary Blades, as the “birth of an enterprise that grew into big business,” it was true, but it was an understatement for sure. What had started out in 1939 as a small batch of handmade cutlery sets given as holiday gifts had turned into thousands of retail accounts around the country. By 1960, Gerber had quickly become one of the most trusted, appreciated and collected names in knives.

After more than 70 years since its founding, Gerber continues to grow. Still grounded in the same principles that first guided Joseph R. Gerber’s “enterprise,” Gerber is a company dedicated to making knives and tools that combine high-quality materials and innovative designs that will stand up to a lifetime of use. The sleek, stainless steel sheath knives of the ’50s and ’60s (the Magnum Hunter) have given birth to today’s lightweight, open-frame clip folders (the Remix). Gerber is, however, no longer just a knife company. Multi-tools, axes, handsaws, machetes, headlamps, flashlights, survival kits, digging implements–these are the newest directions that Gerber explores with the same standards of quality and design that inform their revered knife making.

  1. I am all for protection, however in the Bible it states that when this system of things ends God will protect his people. I think that this scare tactic of the need to purchase something to survive Armageddon is saying to God that you aren't putting your trust in Him. ? I would rather die in his favor than not.

    1. im all about god and country but every good man should have a backup plan in case god is late or we are wrong about god . im not banking my life on faith when it comes to survival ….

      1. amen brotha … 7 billion people and you think you're at the top of his list … wishful thinking, all for one one for all!!!!

    2. I agree with you Ann. I do buy survival gear thou. You need to be able to make a shelter or chop fire wood.

Mens spiritual hearts are failing them, (just look at your rating and comments) and the time will come when "They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God. They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me." John 16:2-3

    3. Ann, in the New Testament, its written that Jesus instructed the 12 to sell their cloaks to buy a sword. That's a paraphrase, obviously, and I don't have the verse in front of me, but it's there. I'm comfortable saying that He would want you purchase such a package.

    4. God will give you strength, that how he does things. you cant just sit on ur ass and wait for food to magically appear. God will give u the opportunities but its on u to seize them.

  2. Bring prepared to sustain human life is not a slap in the face to God. I think it shows that we value what he has given us and we are willing to prepare and fight for it. He provides the tools and knowledge, we provide the passion to live and thrive.

  3. Only two words can describe God
    Higgs Bossons
I prefer logic than hearing that a virgin gave birth to a man who was a drank dude and was making the water into wine.

  4. give a man a typewriter and he types but one letter at a time, but teach a man to type and he bangs out 65 words a minute. We are all right, just depends upon what you believe. However, I reserve the right to reject anyone else's beliefs. I like this kit, it (or something like it) will go into my stash.

  5. If your prepping or just spend a lot of time outdoors …….then you most likely already have items similar to what is in this roll up . Looks like they just want to sell 3 machetes , 2 knives , 1 strange tool of debatable usefulness and an ax . One machete should be enough , crap , the one I have got replaced out in the field by a tomahawk , which is much more useful than a machete .Just sayin

  6. I have chosen and purchased the following list of items that i will use in a case of teotwawki :
    3 military chinese WJQ-308 shovels "received last week from Beijing" (1 for me and 1 for each of my 2 girls), 1 junglas machetes from ESEE rat cutlery, 1F1 fallkniven knife, 1 leatherman wave , 2 mora knives for my girls, 1 Bahco Laplander folding saw, 1 ultimate survival chainsaw, 3 U dig it trowels (1for me and 1 for each of my 2 girls) + WD40 oil + rags and several types of sharpeners (diamond, tungsten & ceramic)…It is NOT the ultimate list but it fits my needs furthermore i`ve chosen 3 types of way to produce fire (lighters, flint units & waterproof matches);
Concerning the Gerber kit, i guess that the Gator machete pro is a poor copy of woodman`s pal and the machetes look cheap…For sure you`ll be fine with that kit but there are far better options in my opinion! Anyway, a kit is only as good as how smart the user is 🙂 Don`t forget to get plenty of paracord!
