In general looks like a decent kit, though i could do without all of the BG branding all over the damn thing.
The braided wire saws are not very durable – I would hate to resort to relying on one. Not a terrible kit, but with the branding and markup, you're paying about 2-3x what you could make one for.
"A survival kit for hostile environments." – no it isn't. Everything there is lightweight and light duty.
The again, people who "Stick the ultimate kit in your backpack and hope you never have to use it." are probably not regular readers of this blog.
Better not stick it in your backpack, but keep it close to your body. You'll never know when you loose your backback…
