Many have suggested that some sort of major catastrophe will occur on 11-11-11. But why is this date so significant and why do so many seem to think we need to batten down the hatches and get ready for something big to happen tomorrow?
With so many false alarms in the past year from Harold Camping predicting the end of days on October 21st to Comet Elenin colliding with the earth on 9-9-11 it’s easy to get doomsday fatigue and start to wonder if you’re crazy for worrying about it all. Here are several reasons why this date is so important and why it might be wise to get prepared for the big one to hit.
Numerology
In numerology, many believe that the number 11 has mystical powers.
The most venerated occult numbers are: 3, 6, 9, 11, 13, and multiples thereof, especially 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77. A triplication of numbers is also considered sacred (possibly even more sacred) to the occultist: 111, 222, 333, and so fourth. The number 5 is the number of Death; also, an extremely sacred number is the double 11, as in 11:11, or 11/11/11.
Astronomy
The Black Hole in the center of our galaxy spins around once every 11 minutes.
The sunspot cycle lasts approximately 11 years.
Perfect alignment of Elenin, Earth, Mercury and Venus set to occur on this date.
String Theory
String theory or M-theory is said to be the theory of everything. It is a way of describing every force and matter regardless of how large or small or weak or strong it is. There are a few eleven’s that have been found in string theory.
I find this to be interesting since this theory is supposed to explain the universe! The first eleven that was noticed is that string theory has to have 11 parallel universes and without including these universes, the theory does not work.
DNA Code
The brain is like a computer, which relies on binary codes (1’s and 0’s). In this premise, 11:11 is the binary code that awakens your dormant (junk) DNA
The number 11 represents twin strands of DNA, so for some people, this is a sign of a DNA activation or upgrade.
Fibonacci Sequence
The first two numbers of the Fibonacci Sequence are 1,1. The Fibonacci Sequence is basically tied into Sacred Geometry and the Golden Ratio of Creation, so this number would represent an end to physical reality as we know it.
Metaphysical
Some believe that a portal to another dimension will open on 11-11-11, allowing spirits or beings from a parallel universe to enter our world.

Predictions
The book of revelations is powerful and has significant meaning relating to these numbers! You might want to read these verses 101, 1001, 1010. 1011, 1101, 1110, and 1111.
Revelations 11:11 – “And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.”
It was recently discovered that the winter solstice of December 21st 2012 would occur at just after 11:11.
From that day to the Mayan calendar end in 2012, there will be 1 year, 1 month, 11 days — another form of 1111.
The date 11-11-11 only occurs once every 100 years.
Events
Remembrance day or Veterans Day is on November 11th. The ceremony commences exactly at 11am.

Seems sort of apropos, but under the 1st section above (Numerology), a misspelling (I'm assuming) of the word SACRED gives the reading: " an extremely SCARED number is…" LOL
